Course Highlights
Updated Aug 2024. This is a beautiful golf course with stunning views and is an excellent example of a northern parkland style course. We do not typically rank courses but this is certainly one of the very top MN courses in our eyes. Conditions of the greens, tee boxes, fairways, and hazards were all very good. The design was very fun with lots of decision making around risk and reward. Large variety of interesting holes spread across a huge amount of land with zero housing or other man-made structures to break up the views. Lots of trees but didn't feel tight or way too difficult. A few blind spots made things challenging for first time players. Very nice large clubhouse. Large practice range. Note that carts do not have GPS but lots of signs and yardage plates help with distances and other information.
Condition*
9.1
Greens, fairways, tee boxes, and white sand hazards all in very good condition.
Playability
9.6
Holes designs and amount of space, risk/reward, fun and varied selections, number of tee box options were all outstanding. Green speeds med. fast and good fit for undulations. Blind shots and forced carries on the higher side. Overall excellent playability.
Visual Impact
9.8
As stated above this is a top notch example of a northern woods/parkland style course. Views and hole designs were stunning to our eyes. Tons of room and zero housing added to experience. The pictures here do not do it justice.
