Course Highlights
Overall a solid balance of risk, reward, short and long holes, with great variety of styles. The prairie grass may get longer in the summer and make this course a solid challenge but we did not think it was unreasonably difficult. The twilight deal of $26 at 3:00 in particular is a very good deal. Small clubhouse does have some golf basics for sale along with bar food and snacks. Front nine is very much a links style while back is a mix of parkland and links style golf. Noticed a couple areas getting remodeled during 2021 visit.
Condition*
8.5
Greens were smooth although on the very firm side after couple weeks of hot dry weather. Fairways, hazards, and tee boxes good condition and no issues.
Playability
8.4
Overall very balanced and enjoyable course. Too many blind shots bring the score down but excellent variety, range of tee lengths, and overall risk/reward bring the score up.
Visual Impact
8.7
Enjoyable course to look at. Moderate level of elevation with lots of mounding, links style sand, and mature trees on some of the holes. Some water and minimal level of on-course housing.
