Course Highlights

Friendly well balanced course.  Greens are very good condition with medium level of undulation and medium to med-fast speed appropriate for the slopes.  Tees, fairways, and hazards all in good condition.  With exception to hole #2, there are minimal forced carries, blind shots, or unfair risk/reward shots.  Good variety of long vs short hole lengths.  Pretty moderate elevation changes make for very walkable round.  All 15 scoring metrics we use fell between 8.0 and 9.0 so the course does not drop the ball anywhere.  Large clubhouse capable of hosting events includes full bar and food menu.  Fairly well stocked pro-shop.  Carts have full GPS.  Dedicated chipping/short game green with space around it.  Very nice deals at this course for twilight and early AM play.

Greens very good condition while tees, fairways, and hazards are good.  Conditions throughout are consistent and do not drop significantly in any area.

Playability

8.3

Greens, fairways, and hazards present an interesting challenge and are fun to play.  Some may want more wow factor but others will find this a nice, laid back, fair course without any extremes.  Moderate housing and roads adjacent to play.

Visual Impact

8.1

Mild elevation changes with moderate trees, water, traps, prairie grass, and mounding make for nice visual appeal.  Housing and roads offset this a little bit but its not excessive in our mind.
