Course Highlights (Updated 2021)

Fantastic destination course in Wisconsin Dells that blends vast elevation views on numerous holes with excellent maintenance throughout. Nice flat and large tee boxes along with excellent fairways and greens. Many of the holes are camera worthy and very interesting to play with unique designs. Note that GPS carts are included with this riding only course. Full driving range with unlimited range balls included in the fee along with large up-to-date clubhouse. Excellent beverage cart service on the Saturday we played. Full bar and food menu that was a step above most golf courses. Note there is also a 9-hole par-3 onsite that we did not have a chance to see or review but it looks like a nice addition.

This is one of our favorite destinations due to moderate price for such a nice course, excellent service, and the huge affiliated water park resort.

Wild Rock is part of the incredible Wilderness Resort which includes multiple large waterparks and other fun family-friendly activities. See comments and pictures below for more information.

Greens, fairways, and tee boxes all in excellent condition with little to improve beyond minor items. Sand traps were cool designs in modest condition.

Playability

Some of the most fun greens we have played in terms of really interesting undulations without going overboard and gimmicky. Appropriate med-fast speed. Course is very large and spread-out with minimal housing and manmade structures. Virtually zero blind shots. Holes laid out in nicely in front of you.

Visual Impact

Fantastic visuals on many holes primarily through use of elevation but trees, water, and sand also add to the appeal. Very memorable course. Its a course built into old quarry but feels like a well done mountain course.

There is no shortage of entertainment and onsite dining along with 4 outdoor and 4 indoor pools, a spa, mini-golf, go-karts, 3 arcades, a wave pool, and shops.
